Numbers are not trunks

DIDs, SIP sessions and the difference between a public number and the connection behind it.

CHAPTER 05 ↗

Know your US obligations

STIR/SHAKEN, the Robocall Mitigation Database and why a reseller label is not an exemption.

START SMALL, CHECK THE WHOLE PATH

A first-service checklist

  1. Define the customer. Country, number type, inbound use and expected answering destination.
  2. Define the product. Number rental, concurrent calls, forwarding, support and renewal are separate decisions.
  3. Prove the route. Test answered, unanswered and unavailable-destination calls before publishing a number.
